On 30 September 2026, MagicInterview became available in nine languages: English, Spanish, Chinese (Simplified), French, German, Portuguese (Brazilian), Italian, Japanese and Korean.
What changed#
- The website. The home page and a page for each use case, interview assistant, interview practice, sales call assistant and meeting assistant, are published in all nine languages, each with its own address, headline and social image.
- The Mac app. The Mac app speaks all nine languages.
- The phone apps. The iPhone, iPad and Android apps gained six more languages and now offer all nine. Permission prompts on iPhone and iPad are in all nine too.
- Practice. Since 1 October the practice room speaks all nine languages.
- Speech recognition. MagicInterview Cloud recognizes eleven languages: the nine above, plus Arabic and Hindi. Each project has its own language, so you can prepare in the language the interview will be held in.
Why it matters#
Interviews, client calls and meetings do not happen only in English, and an assistant that only works in English is not much help to someone interviewing in Madrid, Tokyo or São Paulo. Reading the product and the answers in your own language is also simply better. We reviewed the wording in each language rather than only translating it.
How to use it#
- On the website, choose your language in the page footer, or go straight to your language's address, for example magicinterview.app/es or magicinterview.app/ja.
- In the apps, MagicInterview follows your device's language. You can change a project's language at any time.
- In a conversation, set the project's language to the one that will be spoken, and answers are written in it.
The iPhone, iPad and Mac apps get the new languages with their App Store release, which is in review. The website, the web app and the Android app on Google Play have them now.
