Subprocessors

The companies that process data for MagicInterview, what each one does, what it receives and where it runs.

Last updated

MagicInterview uses a small number of providers to run the service. This page lists each one, what it does, what personal data it receives and where it operates. It supports the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Addendum.

We choose providers that handle only what a feature needs, and we send them nothing for features you do not use. For example, nothing goes to our cloud speech provider unless you pick cloud speech, and nothing goes to an answer provider while you use an on-device answer model.

Our own analytics#

Product analytics and session replay run in PostHog, installed on infrastructure we operate at posthog.megawebs.com. The data stays with us, so PostHog is not a third party that receives it. What it collects, and how it is masked, is explained in the Cookie Policy.

Services that run on your device#

Apple Intelligence on iPhone, iPad and Mac, and Gemini Nano on Android, run on your device. We do not receive those answers through them. Speech recognition set to "On this device" uses the engine built into your device or browser. Whether that engine processes audio on the device or on its vendor's servers depends on your operating system and browser, and its vendor's terms apply. We do not receive that audio through it.

Internal tools#

We use internal operations tooling for operational alerts, such as a notice that password-reset email failed. It does not receive conversations, sources or voice data.

What we do not use#

We do not use advertising networks, data brokers or third-party tracking pixels.

Changes#

We update this page when we add or replace a provider. Customers who have a Data Processing Addendum can ask to be told about changes in advance by writing to support@magicinterview.app.
